Over 35 years experience in triathlon, coaching hundreds of athletes to achieve successful race performances & results.

Jono Rainey Accredited Triathlon Coach

Who We Are

Rainey Performance Coaching is for people of all abilities and all levels of fitness.

 

Jonathon (Jono) Rainey is a Sport Scientist with a Masters in High Performance Sport.  He is an accredited AusTriathlon Professional Coach having coached Professionally full-time since 2014, and racing since 1984.

 

He has extensive knowledge and experience in helping athletes from beginner through to Ironman triathlon level and other endurance events.

 

Jono’s positive attitude and encouraging approach helps others to achieve goals and improve their performances.

 

Jono is an active participant in triathlons, running events and trail running.  He understands the current racing environment with relevant racing & coaching experience using Bike Power meters, Run Power Meters & Heart rate monitors.

What we do

Finding a balance with life and training, RPC creates highly personalised training programs to not only achieve results but tailored to your individual circumstances.

 

We are with you the entire way, challenging and supporting you with your training sessions, providing experienced knowledge for race day preparation, race strategy, equipment and nutrition. 

 

Through regular contact and feedback, you are not alone.

Why get a Coach

It can be daunting starting a journey into fitness through swimming, cycling, running or triathlon. Stepping up in distance from a sprint triathlon to long course or a 5km, 10km run to Half Marathon & Marathon distance is equally challenging.

 

Having an experienced and knowledgeable coach is extremely important to ensure you are in the best shape for your event and to minimise the risk of injury.
